"- C'mon kid! So his life won't have been in vain!"
SPECIAL FEATURE: SFTP-FX technique
(see Luke's blaster fire and the Falcon's engines)
Agh! I hate this page. but the poor stormtrooper being shredded to smithereens is quite exciting.
So his life won't have been in vain? Once again we have an attempt at using a well known expression and making complete load of arse of it.
So Ben's life will have been in vain unless full advantage isn't taken of his death? So, Solo thinks that the old geezer just wasted his life sitting in a mud house on a dustball, like a mad old hermit - waiting to redeem himself by getting killed for their benefit?
Film Notes: You Dirty Womprat...
Thanks to Neil Baker Someone on reddit was asking the other day how Luke was able to so easily make the adjustment to killing people. One reader responded that he'd been shooting womprats since he was a kid. I responded: "Maybe Luke's a classic psycho. You know - killing animals for fun?"
It's great being a kid. All these complex questions and plot holes just don't figure when you're enjoying a piece of entertainment.
Comic Notes
I have a bit of a dilemma now. The last load of upcoming pages are additions and older cut out pages that were rearranged and stapled back together before being inserted into the back of the book. Basically, I ran out of pages on the second half of the book and had to add more. My big worry is: pulling the old staples out, to seperate the pages so I can scan them. Painful prospect!
Thanks for reading! Care to comment?

So I see you improved on the Crayon O Scope by adding high tech felt tipped markers!

Unggggg .... nearly .... almost ... nggggg!

I want an audio version with a dodgy Jimmy Cagney impression... "You doity wamprat... gee I oughta..." etc.
In other news - explody trooper FTW.
And then some film historian standing off to the side saying (knowingly):
"You know, James Cagney never ever said that? Nor did Bogey say 'play it again Sam'; nor did Scotty say 'Cap'n, the engines canny tak' it."
"Wise guy huh? Take that!" BLAM!
Not a lot of people know that.
I love Cagney though. Great character. Good dancer too!
On another note I just noticed your cover reads "Full Color" even with the "Crayon O' Scope"* and "Amazing-Felt-A r ama" ** the pages are not exactly FULL Color are they, 9-year-old John needs to get on that or my lawyers may be calling him. :)
* Crayon O' Scope is the express property of T. Gatto Enterprises, and any infringement is subject to stiff penalty, like having to watch multiple re-runs of Petty Coat Junction.
** Amazing-Felt-Ar ama is the express property of T. Gatto Enterprises, and any infringement is subject to stiff penalty, like having to plunge public rest room toilets without the bennefit of rubber gloves.
Yep you're right. I infringed product description laws. Maybe I learnt it from marvel and their totally spoofy cover images and over the top cover blurbs.
Re: Luke grieving etc. It's beyond belief how he gets over the deaths of dear ones so quickly. Uncle and aunt Gruesomely slaughtered and burned and a few minutes later he's in mos Sisley acting like nothing happened. In the falcon after Ben dies he's sparring with Han over leia, back to thinking with his er... He's beginning to remind me of dexter!
