Holy Canted Angles!
Today's is more modern. Around 1982 or '83, I was getting much better at the old drawing (diligent comics study you see?). And this is pretty dramatic stuff too. Cinematic canted angles and all! the first time I ever heard that expression was whilst watching the (appalling) Batman series of the '60s. For a time in 1988, while I awaited my dad to finish work and pick me up after Art College in Dun Laoghaire; I'd nip over to the flat of some friends. I'd have some tea and watch re-runs of Batman on their TV each day at 5 O'Clock, which was receiving the new (and appalling) SKY Television.
You'd watch it, telling yourself how clever you were because you were studying film - that it's so good it's bad. Oh that old cliché. Aren't teenage students just... annoying? My mate Stephen, who knew all about cinema and was more serious about it than me, was sort of - ironically enjoying it too. He singled out the canted angles for praise. Never heard it before. I've just looked it up on Wikipedia and would you believe, it says:
Dutch tilt, Dutch angle, Dutch shot, oblique angle, German angle, canted angle, Batman angle, or Jaunty angle
Thanks for reading! Care to comment?

Well draw, I especially like the Chinese looking Luke, and Leia has hooters!
And yes, she does tom. She suuuuuure does
This will prove once and for all that you are indeed psychic, and came up with these strips without reading their published counterparts first.

Yes, I was indeed some sort or child genius - a child prodigy if you will (not unlike the precocious Mozart!). Sadly, I never became rich or famous because the world is just wrong. It simply doesn't fit in with me - nor do it's billions of people agree with me.
How do I stay so young and handsome looking for a 43 year old? Ha ha... yes, would you believe I get asked THAT question A LOT: Exercise, fresh air, lots of greens and only complex carbs. I also use a good quality shaving soap made by Taylors of Old Bond Street.
How do I remain so modest despite all of my considerable talents and good looks? That my friend is the hardest one to answer - nay: impossible.
You were absolutely correct (as far as you know) on all points.
It's important to get this crystal clear.
